The naira depreciated further against major foreign currencies at the official and parallel markets on Tuesday, the News Agency of Nigeria reports.
The naira, at the Bureau de Change, was traded at N165 to the dollar against N164.50 it was traded on Monday.
It has remained at the same rate at the black market since Friday, Oct. 25 as it stood at N164.00 to the dollar.
At the official market, it is N157.43 to the dollar in contrast to N156.05 it was traded on Monday.
At the Bureau de Change, the naira fell against the pound sterling to trade at N268 from N265.50 on Monday.
The naira is being traded at N226.00 to the Euro on Tuesday, down from N225.00 on Monday.
