Jose Mourinho will move to Chelsea on a four-year contract.
Mourinho’s split from Real Madrid was confirmed this week.
Reports claimed Mourinho will fly to London on June 2 and sign a four-year contract at Chelsea worth £250,000 a week.
Mourinho will jet out later in the day after his final game in charge of Real Madrid to seal his mega deal.
That is a commitment of around £50 million from owner Roman Abramovich for the second coming of The Special One.
Real Madrid announced last week that the ‘Special One’ would leave the Bernabeu at the end of the season by ‘mutual consent’ – paving the way for his return to Stamford Bridge.
It has been rumoured for some time that Mourinho will take charge of Chelsea next season having initially left the club in 2007.
However an announcement has not been forthcoming.
Mourinho’s seemingly imminent arrival at Stamford Bridge has sparked rumours that he will take a host of Real Madrid players with him to west London – however the Star insists there is little or no chance that Cristiano Ronaldo will follow his countryman to the Premier League.
