Super Eagles midfielder, Moses Simon, has penned farewell message to fans of Levante UD after sealing a permanent deal with French side, Nantes, on Monday.
Simon took to his Twitter handle: @MSimon27, to send the farewell message.
His words: “I want to use this opportunity to formally say goodbye to everybody at
@LevanteUD.
“The fans, technical crew, management and my teammates for the love nd acceptance. You guys will always be in my heart.
“To my new family @fcnantes. Cheers to more better things to come by the grace of God.”
Nantes said in a statement that it took up the option to sign him after he impressed on a season’s loan from Levante.
No financial information was given but media reports said Nantes paid 5 million euros ($5.6 million) for the 24-year-old forward, who scored nine goals and had eight assists in 30 games.
A quick, direct and skilful player, Simon was appreciated by Nantes fans and established himself as one of the best wide players in the league.
