Victor Moses has taken to social media to reveal his disappointment after Chelsea’s 1-0 loss to West Ham in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime.
The Blues headed into the game looking to claim all three points and boost their hopes of retaining the title this season.
However, the west London side fell behind in the sixth minute at the London Stadium when Marko Arnautovic fired home from close range.
Chelsea tried to get back into the game in he second half but struggled to break down a stubborn West Ham United defence.
Moses played the full 90 minutes for the Blues at the London Stadium but couldn’t prevent Chelsea from slipping to a disappointing loss to the Hammers.
The Nigeria international on his personal Instagram account wrote: “Disappointed to not take all 3 points but we never stop fighting #CFC.”
Chelsea must now dust themselves down as they prepare for their Premier League clash against Huddersfield Town on Tuesday night.
The west London side won the title in style last season in Antonio Conte’s first campaign in charge, but the Blues did not have the distraction of European football at all last season.
Chelsea will learn their opponents for the last 16 of the Champions League today (Monday) when the draw is made in Nyon.
