Port Vale will have to keep an eye on 18-year-old wonder kid, Dele Alli, on Saturday.
Alli’s manager, Karl Robinson, said that he has been outstanding in training this week after playing just an hour’s football for England U19s in the last three weeks.
It means that Vale could be in for a scary afternoon if Alli can replicate that form.
“He was outstanding in training in the last two days and he looks like he’s back to the Dele we’ve seen this season,” said Robinson.
“He looked really fresh and lively and he’s got a tremendous edge to him at the moment.
“On Tuesday he did something in training where everyone had to just stop and clap – he went on a run and did some things that were just incredible, and even the ones he put on the floor stopped and clapped.
“He looks great.”
