In a bid to check the rampaging members of the Boko Haram sect, the military on Friday deployed fighter jets of the Nigerian Air Force.
Boko Haram members had in the early hours of Friday launched a massive attack on Giwa Barracks and the University of Maiduguri, both in Borno State.
Owing to the deployment of bombs and heavy artillery by members of the Boko Haram sect, the military had to deploy the Air Force.
The clash between the military and the Boko Haram sect is still ongoing.
