John Mikel Obi’s Tianjin TEDA outfit has lost four friendlies in a row as they get set for the China Super League season slated to kick off in July.
Goals by Denis Garmash, Andriy Yarmolenko and Artem Gromov sealed victory for Dinamo Kiev on Sunday.
Last week, Tianjin TEDA lost 1-0 to Dinamo Bucuresti, which made it the third loss since Obi joined the club from Chelsea.
In their build up, they have also lost 2-1 to Mönchengladbach II, just as they were drubbed 6-2 by St. Pauli.
Obi scored his first goal against St. Pauli.
The midfielder since moving to China became Nigeria’s highest paid player.
He now earns £140,000 weekly at Tianjin TEDA.
