Mercy Johnson Okojie finally laid to rest her father, NWO Johnson Ametuo (Daniel D.A. Johnson) who recently passed away in April.
The Christian wake keep took place at her father’s residence in Lagos on Friday the 2nd of June 2023 and was finally laid to rest on Saturday, the 3rd of June 2023.
The Nollywood superstar was surrounded by family, friends, and some of her celebrity friends like Joke Silva, Juliet Ibrahim, Yvonne Jegede amongst others who came to show their support and pay their final respects.
“What we once enjoyed deeply, we can never lose. I will keep the memories close to my heart,” she said in an Instagram post.
Daniel Johnson is survived by several children and grandchildren, including Mercy Johnson Okojie.
