Men’s Conference 2018: Minister leads discussion on Nigeria Dream Beyond Oil’

Speaking ahead of the maiden Regional Men’s Conference, Pastor Brown Oyitso, who is the Pastor in Charge of the Region, explained that the idea is to get the church involved in setting agenda for national development.

The Minister for Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Okechukwu Enelamah, is expected to lead discussion at the Redeemer’s Men’s Fellowship, Region 19 Men’’s Conference, with the theme: “The Nigeria Dream Beyond Oil,” holding at Redeemed Christian Church of God Dominion Sanctuary, Plot 1, Acme Road, Ogba-Ikeja, Lagos on May 12, 2018.
Speaking ahead of the maiden Regional Men’s Conference, Pastor Brown Oyitso, who is the Pastor in Charge of the Region, explained that the idea is to get the church involved in setting agenda for national development.
According to Oyitso: “Our vision is to raise distinct men of excellence and impact by not only creating the right platform for engagement but at the same time setting the agenda for positive engagement that will impact on the lives of our members and the country at large.”
Among other distinguished speakers expected at the Conference are Kayode Pitan, Managing Director, Bank of Industry, and Opeyemi Agbaje, CEO, Resources and Trust Company Advisory Services Limited.
On what to expect at the event, the Regional Men’s Coordinator, Pastor Amos Emovon, who is also a Pastor in Charge of Province, noted that for an economy that has depended majorly on revenues from oil, there is no better time than now to discuss alternative investment opportunities in the country.
This becomes more imperative with the decreasing fortune of oil in the global market, Emovon said.
According to him: “Participants in this year’s edition of the Conference will be exposed to opportunities in other sectors of the Nigerian Economy beyond oil. There will be breakout sessions on Agriculture, Real Estate, Energy, SME and Information Technology among others. The breakout sessions will be handled by Prof. Sonaiya, Mr. Tonye Cole, Mr. Jide Arowosafe etc.”
The RMF Region 19 Conference is expected to become an annual gathering of men representing all RCCG Provinces under the Region.
It is designed as an annual platform for empowerment and networking.
