One of Nigeria’s newest airlines, Med View Airline, made a air return on Sunday after one of its engine failed on a Lagos-Abuja flight.
The incident happened at about 2pm on Sunday.
The Eagle Online learnt that the pilot of the plane, on spotting a red light on the plane’s dashboard, shut down the faulty engine and announced a air return.
The pilot made use of the second engine to fly to Lagos.
It was learnt that he landed the plane without any incident.
Released as Flight 214, the Boeing 737-400 series, marked 5N-BPA, had 74 passengers on board.
Med View commenced operations in November 2012.
