Many persons have been confirmed dead in the early morning crash on Friday that occurred in the Berger area of Lagos State on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Contrary to the earlier information made available to The Eagle Online, it was not a lone accident involving a 40ft tanker bearing a container.
Rather, it was a crash of the tanker, which container fell on some vehicles and into which some others ran into after it fell.
A few metres after that, a Lafarge cement mixer and a car also ran into themselves in the bid to avoid crashing into the fallen tanker.
