English Premier League giants, Manchester United, has joined the clubs chasing Golden Eaglets’ midfielder, Kelechi Iheanacho.
Just as the Red Devils, striker-hungry Arsenal also watched the striking star at the just-ended FIFA Under-17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates.
The 17-year-old won the Golden Ball as the tournament’s best player.
Ihenacho scored six goals in seven matches, including one in Nigeria’s victory over Mexico in the final and four in one of the matches against the same opposition in the group phase.
The Taye Academy whizkid also provided seven assists.
Iheanacho said: “It is my dream to play in England.”
