Manchester City broke three Premier League records held by Chelsea as they defeated Brighton 3-1 at the Etihad.
Danilo broke the deadlock with his third league goal of the season before Leonardo Ulloa headed home an equaliser for Chris Hughton’s men in the 20th minute.
Bernardo Silva’s strike to make it 2-1 – City’s 104th goal of the season – saw Pep Guardiola’s side break Chelsea’s record of 103 goals, which they managed under Carlo Ancelotti in 2009/10.
The victory meant City overtook Chelsea’s record of 30 wins, which Antonio Conte’s team achieved last term.
Chelsea lost a third record on Wednesday night as City eclipsed their points tally from the 2004/05 campaign (93).
Incredibly, Guardiola’s side have racked up 95 points in the English top flight and still have Southampton to face at the weekend.
As Chelsea’s records were falling, they were also struggling to get the better of Huddersfield at Stamford Bridge.
Laurent Depoitre put the visitors in front just after half-time before Marcos Alonso’s goal brought the sides level in the 62nd minute.
