A man, Babatunde Damilare, has been arrested for killing a commercial sex worker in the Surulere Area of Lagos State while fighting over the cost of the sex they had.
The incident, according to available information, occurred on November 6, 2019.
Damilare was said to have engaged Elochukwu in a fight at Edo Inn Hotel at 17, Atan Street, Empire, Surulere.
The incident was reported at Surulere Police Station.
During the scuffle, Damilare reportedly picked a knife and stabbed Eluchukwu several times on the neck, which led to her death on the spot.
The suspect was arrested by Homicide Detectives led by the Divisional Police Officer of Surulere, CSP Adebayo Adeoya.
The corpse of Elochukwu was said to have been deposited at Mainland Hospital morgue in Yaba for autopsy.
