The League Management Company through its Chief Operating Officer, Salihu Abubakar, has informed all Nigerian Professional Football League clubs about changes in match day 20 fixtures.
The LMC passed down the notice in a communiqué sent to all clubs, dated April 1, 2021.
It notified all clubs that “match day 20 will now be played on Sunday, 18th April, 2021 – instead of the earlier date scheduled for 11th April.”
The LMC however gave reasons for the actions: “This is to allow clubs enjoy our traditional mid-season break of 14 days.
Meanwhile the letter further reiterated that “the second transfer window is still open for clubs to register players until the midnight of 14th April 2021.”
The League Management Company is the apex governing body of clubs participating in elite Nigerian Football League.
