The Plateau Government has declared Wednesday, October 10, 2018, a work free day to enable residents vote in the local government elections.
A statement by Richard Tokma, Acting Secretary to the State Government, said that the elections would hold in 13 of the 17 local governments.
He advised voters to exercise their franchise and do so peacefully so as to avoid anything that would disrupt the peace in the state.
