Leicester City’s owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha has been confirmed dead following the helicopter crash outside the King Power Stadium on Saturday evening.
The 61-year-old lost his life along with staff members Nursara Suknamai and Kaveporn Punpare, pilot Eric Swaffer and his partner Izabela Roza Lechowicz.
Reports that Srivaddhanaprabha’s daughter was also onboard turned out to be false.

Sixty-year-old Srivaddhanaprabha purchased Leicester City for £39 million in 2010 and guided them into the history books with their Premier League title win against all the odds in 2016.
Leicester described Srivaddhanaprabha as “a man of kindness, of generosity and a an whose life was defined by the love he devoted to his family and those he so successfully led.”
A book of condolence will be opened at King Power Stadium on Tuesday morning.
Leicester City’s next game against Southampton in the EFL Cup, due to take place on Tuesday evening, has been postponed.
