Leicester City have appointed Claudio Ranieri as their new manager on a three-year deal.
The Italian takes over from Nigel Pearson, who was surprisingly dismissed last month following three-and-a-half years at the club.
Ranieri boasts of plenty experience, having previously taken charge of Valencia, Parma, Juventus, Roma, Inter Milan and Monaco.
A Spanish Cup winner with Valencia in 1999, the 63-year-old saw his last foray in English football end in disappointment as he was shown the door by Chelsea 11 years ago.
Ranieri, who has been out of work since being dismissed as Greece national team boss last November, revealed last week that he would be open to replacing Pearson at the King Power Stadium.
