Late General Abacha’s son dies in his sleep at 36

Abdullahi, one of the sons of late Head of State, General Sani Abacha, is dead.

Fatimah Gumsu Abacha-Buni, wife of the Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, announced the development on Saturday.

Abacha-Buni, one of late General Abacha’s nine children, announced the death of Abdullahi, one of her siblings who was 36, via Instagram.

She wrote: “Innalillahi wa inna ilahi rajiun (Surely, we belong to Allah and verily to Him do we return).

“I lost my younger brother Abdullahi Sani Abacha.

“He died in his sleep.

“May Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him jannatul firdaos (paradise), Ameen.

“Please include him in your prayers.”
