The Lagos State Signage and Advertising Agency has appointed Olumide Sogunle as its Deputy Managing Director.
Until Sogunle’s appointment over the weekend, he was the agency’s Head, Registry Department.
Sogunle, an English graduate of the Lagos State University, is the first person to hold the post since the creation of the agency in 2006.
Sogunle joined LASAA in 2009 as head of the old Monitoring and Inspection Department before he was moved to the Registry Department, following the recent restructuring exercise.
Prior to joining LASAA, Sogunle had garnered experience in various Nigerian banks and organisations.
He was Business Development Manager, Dopemu, Lagos branch of Skye Bank Plc from January 2006 to August 2008 and Manager, Institutional Banking Division of EIB International Bank Plc from November 2002 to January 2006.
Sogunle, who holds a Masters degree in Business Administration with specialty in Marketing from the Delta State University, Abraka, was a former Deputy Manager, Customer Relations/Business Development and Marketing Unit of the Ikoyi, Lagos branch of Eko International Bank.
He was also Head of Unit, Accounts and Reconciliation Department, Eko International Bank Plc from August 1998 to August 1999.
The associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations also had stints at Radio Lagos where he was a presenter, reporter and sub-editor.
Sogunle has attended many professional courses and is married and blessed with children.
