Nigeria has recorded 125 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total in the country to 57,849.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control disclosed this on its Twitter handle on Thursday.
According to the NCDC, Lagos State had the highest number of infections for the day: 37.
It was followed by Plateau State with 18 cases and the Federal Capital Territory, 17 new infections.
Others were Ogun, 15; Rivers, 10; Benue, 7; Kaduna, 7; Anambra, 5; Oyo, 3; Cross River, 2; Ondo, 2; Edo, 1; and Imo, 1.
The new COVID-19 cases take the total infections in Nigeria to 57,849 out of which 49,098 have recovered, with 1,102 deaths.
