The Alimosho General Hospital has become the beneficiary of a modern ambulance to enhance its qualitative delivery in line with international best medical practices, courtesy of the Sustainable Developmental Goals Office under the auspice of the Special Assistant to the President, Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire.
While receiving the donated vehicle, Dr. Madewa Adebajo, the Medical Director of the Hospital, expressed his gratitude and asserted that the gesture will enhance qualitative healthcare delivery in the State.
Adebajo noted that the donation is one amongst other projects initiated by the Office headed by Orelope-Adefulire to foster excellent medicare to residents in the Alimosho community.
Adebajo recalled the recent donations of two 40-feet containers of biomedical equipment bequeathed to the facility as part of the process for improved medical services, revealing that plans are underway to install the equipment and train biomedical engineers for continued maintenance.
