Federal lawmakers from Kano State both in the Senate and House of Representatives on Thursday described the Kwakwasiya Political Movement in the state as an empty shell.
The Kwakwasiya Political Movement was established by former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, which is believed to have the capacity to win elections.
But addressing the newsmen, the lawmakers, led by Senator Kabiru Gaya, said with the defection of former Governor of Kano State, Ibrahim Shekarau, to the APC, followed by that of Senator Ibrahim Lado, there was no more opposition in the state.
The group then declared total support for Governor Abdullahi Ganduje and President Muhammadu Buhari ahead of the 2019 general election.
