The management of Kogi United Football Club, Lokoja has dropped Omale Jonathan and replaced him with Adeniyi Yinka as the assistant coach of the Nigeria National League club.
The Chairman of the club, Mallam Abdul Adama, stated that the assistant coach of the club, Omale Jonathan, has been relieved of his job.
The decision, according to Adama, is in line with the continued efforts to restructure the club’s technical crew ahead of the 2013/2014 Nigeria National League season.
Meanwhile, the appointment of the new assistant coach, Adeniyi Yinka, takes immediate effect.
Mallam Adama wished their former assistant coach, Omale Jonathan, the best in his future endeavours.
The newly appointed Kogi United’s Assistant Coach, Adeniyi Yinka, was until his appointment the chief coach of Fame FC, Lagos, which dumped out relegated-Glo NPFL side, 3SC, in the 2012 Federation Cup round-of-60.
He was also the former handler of Union Bank FC of Lagos and an ex-Nigerian international goalkeeper.
