Former Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs, Festus Keyamo (SAN), on Tuesday spoke on his redeployment by President Muhammadu Buhari to the Ministry of Labour and Employment.
Keyamo spoke via his Twitter handle shortly after the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, revealed that Keyamo and Senator Tayo Alasoadura had been asked to swap positions.
While Keyamo is now the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Alasoadura takes over as Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs and will work with Senator Godswill Akpabio as Minister.
Keyamo on Tuesday twitted on the development: “On the move again: Two portfolios in two months!
“Just been redeployed to the Ministry of Labour and Employment to work with my long-time big brother, H.E, Chris Ngige.
“Thank you, Mr President for finding me versatile enough to move around. Always ready to serve in any capacity.”
