Super Eagles’ gaffer, Stephen Keshi, has given Standard Liege striker, Imoh Ezekiel, an opportunity to impress ahead of the World Cup this summer.
Ezekiel, who has netted eight times in the Belgian Pro League this season, has been named alongside fellow uncapped players, Ramon Azeez and Michael Uchebo, for Nigeria’s friendly against Mexico on March 5 in Atlanta, United States of America.
Azeez, a midfielder for Almeria, has made 18 appearances in La Liga during the current campaign, while Uchebo has scored on five occasions for Cercle Brugge.
Israeli-based defender, Juwon Oshaniwa, who has not featured for Nigeria since last year’s Africa Cup of Nations triumph, has also been included.
