Former Super Eagles gaffer, Stephen Keshi, has agreed to coach the Super Eagles for the two crucial African Cup of Nations qualifiers coming up next month.
Keshi had fallen out with the management of the Nigerian Football Federation over the terms for the renewal of his coaching contract, which came to an end with the conclusion of the Brazil 2014 World Cup.
Last week, he bid farewell to the national team, saying he was not well treated.
However, with the intervention on Monday of the Minister of Sports and Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Tammy Danagogo, Keshi agreed to oversee the Super Eagles for the matches against the DR Congo and South Africa.
The first match against DR Congo comes up on September 6 in Calabar, Cross River State, while the second against South Africa follows four days later.
The list of invited players was released last week without imput from Keshi.
More details soon.
