Total telecommunications solutions provider, Globacom, has urged Nigerian workers to regard this year’s May Day celebration as a time to reaffirm their faith in the Creator to see them through as the entire world confronts the Coronavirus pandemic.
The company, in a goodwill message issued on this year’s May Day celebration, admonished that though the global economic realities confronting everyone were harsh and daunting, they should maintain their doggedness and perseverance to be able to win the battle in no time.
It also saluted them for their courage, resilience and can-do attitude to the social and economic development of the nation.
The network said it had no doubt that the current pandemic has led to economic challenges for everyone, and urged worker to remain positive, adding that this is the time they would need their inherent patience and perseverance, which they have demonstrated over the years.

Globacom further enthused that this difficult period would soon pass and life would return to normal “as our Muslim brothers and sisters use the ongoing Ramadan to pray for global peace and an end to the pandemic along with the prayers of other religious groups”.
It promised to continue to offer “innovative and value-added products and services to support workers in the public and private sectors towards delivering services to Nigerians in all spheres of life”.
