The Katsina State Government via its Ministry of Lands and Surveys on Wednesday launched Electronic Certificate of Occupancy.
According to the Commissioner of Lands and Survey, Hon. Abubakar Sadiq Sada, it was to ease the process of acquiring land across the state.
Sada further added that the process is fully online.
The Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari, stressed the need for the State Government to comply with global best practices and to simplify the ease of acquiring land.
Masari also stressed the need for sustainable compliance.
He presented some samples the electronic C of O to some owners.
