A former Governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Kalu, has eulogised the Turaki of Adamawa, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, on his 67th birthday.
Kalu said Abubakar has touched the lives of so many Nigerians and non-Nigerians in several positive ways, hence the need to celebrate him and thank God for the preservation of his life.
In a statement by his Special Adviser, Oyekunle Oyewumi, Kalu said: “Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is a detribalised Nigerian who has demonstrated that irrespective of religion, tribe, political and social strata, friendship has no bounds.
“He has contributed his own quota to the growth and development of the nation in both private and public capacities.”
Kalu said that Abubakar’s life is a testimony to the fact that one can rise through life no mater the odds and challenges.
He added: “The major thing to note is that hard work and honesty are two major factors that will count in the rise to stardom.
“There is no short cut to success as your life has proven.
“I join your family, friends, political children and numerous well-wishers to thank God Almighty for your life and pray God to grant you excellent health, courage, wisdom and more years of noble service to the nation and humanity.”
