An explosion late on Tuesday in Kaduna left two persons injured.
The explosion occurred at about 8:15pm.
It was said to have occurred at Asikolaye U-turn along Nnamdi Azikwe Way.
The Commissioner in charge of the Kaduna State Police Command, Umar Shehu, confirmed the incidence to newsmen also late on Tuesday.
Shehu said no one died in the explosion.
He said: “There was an explosion, but only two people sustained injury and are receiving treatment at the hospital.”
The area was immediately cordoned by security operatives.
