The Kaduna State Commissioner for Education, Prof. Jonathan Andrew Nok, is dead.
The Commissioner, who initially oversaw the Ministry of Health and Human Services in the administration of Governor Nasir el-Rufai, was reported dead in the early hours of Tuesday.
Born on February 11, 1962, Nok hailed from Nok Village in Jaba Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Until he went to serve in the administration of El-Rufai, Nok was a professor of Biochemistry at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State.
He attended Government Secondary School, Kafanchan.
