The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Maryam Aloma-Muktar, has described the late Justice Kayode Eso as “a great man.”
Aloma-Muktar, who was at the Ibadan, Oyo State home of the late Justice Eso on a condolence visit, said he contributed to the reform of the nation’s judicial system.
She wrote in the condolence register: “To say that we will all miss him is an understatement.”
The CJN was accompanied by the Chief Judge of Oyo State, Justice Badejoko Adeniji, and other senior federal judicial officers.
The eldest son of the deceased, Olumide, received Aloma-Mukktar and others.
Eso died on November 16, 2012 in a London hospital at 87.
