A female journalist, Olubunmi Oke, has been kidnapped.
Oke works with the Nigerian Television Authority in Akure, Ondo State.
She was reportedly kidnapped by four gunmen on Oba-Ile Road, Akure, the Ondo State capital.
Oke was kidnapped on Thursday evening as she returned home from work.
She is said to be nursing a baby.
Sh had the baby after losing a five-year-old child to last year’s flooding.
Meanwhile, another female journalist escaped being kidnapped earlier on Thursday.
She was identified as Cecilia Magi.
Magi was said to have suspected a foul play when the suspected kidnappers approached her, asking for what she knew was a completely wrong information.
Magi, who works for the Ondo State Radiovision Corporation, was reported to have fled from the kidnappers at that point in time.
