Anthony Joshua is set to face Joseph Parker in a unification clash in the spring after the two camps finally agreed terms.
Parker’s camp have agreed that the unbeaten WBO heavyweight champ will receive between 30 and 35 per cent of the total purse with Joshua coining in almost two thirds.
This purse split had been the main stumbling block in negotiations with Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn insisting the Kiwi would have to accept 25 per cent.
A breakthrough was achieved in the last few days and Hearn has sent a copy of the contract to Parker’s camp for their final approval.
Parker’s promoter David Higgins is now expected to fly to London to agree on a date and venue.
Parker and Higgins have already said they are willing to come back to the UK after successfully defending the WBO title against Hughie Fury in Manchester in September.
