Jonathan appoints Adepoju ED FRIN

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has approved the appointment of Dr. Adeshola Olutunde Adepoju as the Executive Director for the Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria.

The appointment was conveyed in a letter dated April 7, 2015 and signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim.

Until his appointment, Dr. Adepoju was the Rector of the Federal College of Forestry, Jos, Plateau State.

The President said it is hoped that with this appointment, Dr. Adepoju will bring his wealth of knowledge in technical, administrative and management experience to bear in running the affairs of Institute.

The appointment took effect from April 1, 2015 and is expected to last for a period of four years.

An accomplished administrator, Dr. Adepoju holds a Doctorate (PhD) degree in Agricultural Economics with specialization in Agriculture/Environmental Economics from the Ahmadu Bello University as well a Masters and Bachelor degrees from the same University.

Dr. Adepoju is happily married with children.
