Super Eagles’ midfielder, Joel Obi, is fit and back to training at Inter Milan, after suffering a muscle strain during a pre-season tie in Italy.
The 22-year old player forfeited the game against Genoa.
He may be on the trip to Catania on Sunday on the second day of the Serie A.
Obi, whose development in the rank of Nerrazurri was hampered by a nagging injury last season, has shown some promise since joining the first team of the club.
“Firstly I want to thank God Almighty for helping me to see through the process of my recovery from the injury that has stopped me from playing for my club and country for some time now,” said Obi.
“I want to tell you especially that I have re-joined my teammates for full training sessions and I am really happy about this.”
