The Governor of Plateau State and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for Plateau North Senatorial District, Da Jonah David Jang has tendered public apology to the people of the state for his wrongdoings.
Jang begged for forgiveness for all the wrongs he committed during his eight years tenure in office.
He pleaded with the people to support him so that Plateau State would deliver 1.8 million votes to President Goodluck Jonathan in Saturday’s presidential election.
Jang disclosed this on Tuesday during a town hall meeting with stakeholders in Plateau South Senatorial District.
The governor commended the people of Plateau State for their contributions toward the success of the PDP in all elective positions and the performance of leaders since the administration of General Yakubu Gowon down to his.
He described the opposition as a bunch of wicked and confused people who have lost focus by leaving the PDP government.
The PDP gubernatorial candidate for the state, Senator G.N.S. Pwajok, called on the people to strive and come together and take Plateau State to greater heights.
Pwajok said: “The reason why we formed political parties is to bring government closer to the people by meeting the needs and the aspiration of our people.”
