Arsenal midfielder, Alex Iwobi, has joined the growing list of Super Eagles players on the sideline following a hamstring injury the lad copped in their 2-1 loss to Manchester United.
The Nigerian lad played through in pains since the London side has exhausted her substitutions in the tie.
Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, confirmed the development to reporters shortly after the game.
Wenger said: “Mkhitatryan I took off because he had a little knock on his knee again, the same thing, just looking at him in the dressing room.
“[David] Ospina has a rib problem and Alex Iwobi has a hamstring problem.
“We’ll see how everyone recovers because Thursday will come around very quickly.”
Wenger was unable to confirm whether any of the three would be available for Thursday’s game with the trio set to be monitored over the next few hours.
