Nigerian international, Alex Iwobi, is back in training ahead of Sunday’s Premier League tie against Brighton & Hove Albion.
The forward, who returned to Arsenal’s first team training, is also expected to make the Super Eagles squad against Zambia in the World Cup qualifier next Saturday.
The 21-year-old, who played a key role in the Gunners’ point at Chelsea two weeks ago, has not played since the 1-0 win over Doncaster Rovers in the Carabao Cup.
Iwobi missed out on the team’s 2-0 win over West Brom on Monday, while he also didn’t travel to Belarus for Arsenal’s Europa League game against BATE Borisov.
Although he missed those games due to a thigh injury, his return to training with the team will put him in contention for a place in the squad against Chris Hughton’s side.
