Nigerian international, Alex Iwobi, featured prominently as Arsenal unveiled their home kit for the 2018-19 season on Tuesday.
The shirt features Arsenal’s vibrant red on the torso and back but uses white more prominently across the shoulder and sleeves than last season’s kit.
Arsenal launched the new look with a promotional video on their official Twitter account accompanied by the hashtag #WeAreTheArsenal.
The video features Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alex Iwobi, Mesut Ozil, Hector Bellerin and Alexandre Lacazette speaking about their experiences playing football during their childhood.
In his remarks, Iwobi said: “Growing up I was playing in the cage and playing Power League with friends. They gave me the confidence to show what I can do and if I could do it against older kids then I could do it against anyone.”
An “Authentic” version of the kit will cost supporters £100, while the other adult shirts cost between £55 and £60.
Junior kits cost between £45 and £50.
Puma have acted as Arsenal’s kit manufacturer since the 2014-15 season when the 20-year run with Nike ended.
