After observing the 30 days fasting, the people of Niger East Senatorial District could not celebrate the Eid el-Fitr because of the security challenges bedevilling parts of the State and the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Musa encouraged the people not to lose hope, but remain positive in the face of the current challenges.
While congratulating the Muslim faithful on the conclusion of the Ramadan fast and the celebration of Eid el-Fitri, Musa said with the two problems in place, the people could only celebrate the festivity on a low key as their lives are largely affected.
The lawmaker in Sallah message he signed and made available to newsmen, urged Muslims in Niger East Senatorial District to continue to pray for the peace and unity of the area and Niger State as a whole.
