The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Diaspora Commission, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has said she is yet to get over the death of her mother, Sadiat Abeke Erogbogbo.
The Eagle Online recalls that the retired teacher and businesswoman, popularly called Kind Teacher, was 90 years old.
She died on February 1, 2021, with encomium pouring in for her from across the world, including a tribute by President Muhammadu Buhari.
But reacting the news of the death of a mother of a Nigerian on Saturday, Dabiri-Erewa said she was yet to get over hers.
The Twitter user: @mamateeplus001, popularly known as: “mamatee of EMILOKAN Republic,” had said on Saturday that it was her mum’s burial, seeking further prayers to pull through the loss.
She tweeted: “Nevertheless, today is my mama burial.
“Thank u my people for ur support and prayers!
“More of ur prayers needed to pull me through.. pray for me more please!!”
Reacting to the news, Dabiri-Erewa tweeted: “May her soul RIP.
“The loss of a mum is irreparable.
“Still can’t get over mine.
“The Lord is your strength.”
