The Leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has vowed to join forces with those seeking to remove President Muhammadu Buhari from power in 2019.
Kanu made the vow on Saturday, according to a former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, who said he spoke with him.
President Buhari is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the 2019 election.
Fani-Kayode, in a terse WhatsApp message to The Eagle Online on Saturday, said: “I just received a call from my brother Nnamdi Kanu.
“I am delighted that he is alive and well.
“I commend his strength and courage even as I marvel at the loyalty, resilience and commitment of his lawyer Ifeanyi Ejiofor and IPOB.
“We have agreed to work together to VOTE Buhari out.”
