Nigerian international, Ikechukwu Uche, has denied his involvement in the match-fixing scandal currently rocking Spanish football.
The striker was at the headquarters of the anti-corruption prosecutor on Monday to testify about the alleged rigging in the Levante-Zaragoza match in the final day of the 2010-2011 campaign.
“It went all right. I did not participate in anything, not much to say. All is well and I am calm,” Uche was quoted as saying by the Spanish press after fielding questions by the tribunal.
The Nigerian, who spent very little time inside the facility, and disowned the alleged rigging, stated: “It was a normal game.”
