Striker Kelechi Iheanacho has landed in France ahead of Manchester City’s Round of 16 Champions League against Monaco at Stade Louis II on Wednesday.
The Taye Academy product first trained with the Citizens squad on Tuesday before hopping on a plane bound for the Principality of Monaco.
City registered Iheanacho on their player list B alongside Tosin Adarabioyo, but the young central defender is unlikely to feature having played against Arsenal in Premier League 2 on Monday.
Should the Super Eagles rising star get a look in by manager, Pep Guardiola, it would be his fourth appearance in the Champions League this season, including the qualifying rounds.
Manchester City won the first leg at the Etihad 5-3 with Iheanacho watching proceedings from the bench.
