World renowned juju music singer, Sunday Adegeye, popularly known King Sunny Ade, has broken his silence weeks after his former guitarist, Abiodun Fatoki, was arrested for drug trafficking at the Muritala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos State.
Speaking in an interview on the arrest of Fatoki by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, the legendary musician noted that he had always advised his band members against doing or getting themselves involved in drugs.
Dissociating himself from Fatoki’s action and claim thet he was sacked without benefits, KSA said: “He is an ex-member of my group who retired almost five years ago.
“I don’t deal with anybody who does not believe in God.
“I’ve told them to see me as their leader and shun doing things that are capable of tarnishing their image.
“I didn’t pray for anything evil to happen to him but I know his conscience will be troubled now.”
