Former Senator Shehu Sani says he does not believe that Boko Haram captive, Leah Sharibu, is dead.
Grace Taku, the aid worker kidnapped by Boko Haram terrorists, had claimed that Sharibu alongside one Alice has been killed by the insurgents because of the Federal Government of Nigeria’s inability to “do something”.
However, Sani countered the aid worker’s claim, saying he does not believe Sharibu is dead.
It could be recalled that in 2013, Sani was appointed by President Goodluck Jonathan into a Federal Government National Committee to Dialogue with the Boko Haram insurgents.
He turned down the offer on the ground that his previous recommendation was not used.
