Gunmen have abducted the wife of a Lecturer with the Federal College of Education (Technical), Gusau, Zamfara State, Dr. Abdulrazaq Mu’azu, and two of his daughters.
The spokesman of the Zamfara State Police Command, Mohamed Shehu, confirmed the development on Friday.
The wife and daughters of the Department of Agriculture Lecturer were kidnapped in the early hours of Friday.
They were kidnapped in their residence in Mareri, a community on the outskirts of Gusau, the Zamfara State capital.
Shehu said a search and rescue team had been despatch to go after the abductors and ensure the rescue of the family members of Dr. Mu’azu.
He said normalcy has been restored in the area.
