The Ogun Coalition Group has given kudos to the state Governor; Senator Ibikunle Amosun, over the composition and inauguration of Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission.
The group’s support for the move was made known through a statement signed by its National Coordinator, Hon. Moroff Kamourudeen.
According to the governor in his speech at the inauguration, the sole aim of putting such a credible team together was to ensure free and fair elections, which in turn will help stabilise democracy in the country.
The group pleaded with the governor to fulfill his promise of providing “a platform for people to exercise their civic responsibility in an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity.”
